Project Lead
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Strategy
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to define project goals, timelines, budgets, and key deliverables.
- Creating detailed project plans, including schedules and resource allocation.
- Defining the scope of the project and identifying potential risks or roadblocks.
- Team Management
- Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams (design, content, digital, etc.).
- Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their strengths and expertise.
- Motivating and supporting the team to meet deadlines and project goals.
- Monitoring team performance and providing feedback and guidance.
- Client Communication
- Acting as the main point of contact between the client and the agency.
- Regularly updating clients on the project’s progress, addressing concerns, and gathering feedback.
- Managing client expectations and ensuring that the agency delivers on commitments.
- Budget and Resource Management
- Managing the project’s budget, ensuring that it stays within financial constraints.
- Ensuring efficient use of resources (personnel, tools, and technology) to meet project needs.
- Tracking expenses and forecasting any potential financial adjustments.
- Quality Assurance
- Overseeing the quality of the work produced by the team to ensure it aligns with the client’s objectives and brand guidelines.
- Conducting regular reviews of deliverables before they are sent to clients to ensure high standards.
- Problem-Solving and Risk Management
- Identifying any challenges or issues that arise during the project and developing solutions.
- Managing project risks and making adjustments to plans as needed to ensure deadlines are met and the project stays on track.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Keeping track of project progress with regular reports on timelines, budget, and quality.
- Documenting key milestones, decisions, and project feedback for future reference and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration with Other Departments
- Working closely with other departments such as creative, design, content, and purchasing to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
- Ensuring cross-functional collaboration for cohesive project delivery.
- Post-Project Review
- Leading a project debrief after completion to evaluate the process, outcomes, and client feedback.
- Identifying areas for improvement in future projects.
- Celebrating successes with the team and recognizing individual contributions.
- Innovation and Improvement
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to bring fresh ideas and strategies to the table.
- Suggesting new tools, techniques, or strategies to enhance the agency’s project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree holder
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Project Lead
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster and maintain positive relationships
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple engagements
- Familiarity with social media platforms and experience in event management or collaboration management
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
