Content Writer

Responsibilities

• Develops and writes clear, engaging, and well-structured articles, features, and posts for online readers
• Covers or gathers content from conventions, exhibits, social gatherings, and community events as needed
• Coordinates with the client or project lead to confirm content topics, direction, and publishing timelines
• Reviews, edits, and proofreads written materials to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency
• Conducts basic research or fact-checking to support content accuracy and relevance
• Maintains organized content files and ensures all deliverables are submitted on schedule

Qualifications

• Graduate of Communication, Marketing, Journalism, English, or any related course
• Experience in writing gained through previous work, internship, or organization involvement
• Capable of working independently while maintaining clear communication and alignment with the client’s objectives
• Strong writing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adjust tone and style based on topic or audience
• Open to attending occasional onsite activities such as conventions, exhibits, or community events for content development
• Interest in subjects related to gaming, online communities, and entertainment
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines consistently
